With fiber optics as a product of the future we offer fast and secure data transmission in the IT and telecommunication sector onshore and offshore.

The company was founded in October 2006 as a sole proprietorship in the Rhineland in North Rhine-Westphalia. In January 2017, the sole proprietorship changed its name to Glasfasertechnik Pioch GmbH, based in Weilerswist.

We have specialized in various development stages in land – and submarine cable projects.
With fiber optics as a product of the future we offer fast and secure data transmission in the IT and telecommunication sector onshore and offshore.

We mainly work on behalf of operators for fiber optic network development of telecommunication providers and offshore wind farms.

Our working area for fiber optic network expansion – route expansion currently extends from the district of Aachen to the district of Euskirchen, Zülpich, Weilerswist, Bornheim, Bonn and the foothills.

House connections with final installation are just as much a part of our network expansion tasks as the introduction and blowing in of micro and mini cables with equipment approved by Telekom in accordance with ZVT TK-Netzebene 40.

Wir setzen unsere jahrelangen Erfahrungen und fundierten ausgeprägten Kenntnisse in den Glasfaserausbau national und international an Land und auf See ein. Mit Glasfaser erhalten Sie eine größere Bandbreite sowie eine höhere und genauere Datenübertragung. Leistungen von bis zur 10 Gbit/s und mehr sind Standard. Die Geschwindigkeiten hängen von dem verwendeten Kabeltyp ab. Singlemode-Glasfaser bietet die größte Bandbreite und wird üblicherweise für lange Distanzen verwendet. Die Übertragung der Daten mittels Glasfaserkabel erfolgt mit hoher Zuverlässigkeit. Gegenüber Kupfer ist es weniger störanfällig. Der Kern einer Glasfaserleitung besteht aus Glas, einem nicht stromleitenden Material.
